The IT Systems Admin/Engineer will use technical and analytical skills to effectively configure and maintain existing systems and networks. This position is part of a collaborative, dynamic, and modern infrastructure environment. Must be able to navigate throughout the building. Must be able to hear and communicate well. Must have good eye-hand coordination and finger movement for use in computer software programs. Must be able to lift approximately 20 pound boxes holding supplies, etc.

Essential Job Functions
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure constant availability
- Azure monitoring and management
- Provide domain administration including AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, firewall, etc.
- Plan, deploy and manage installations of new hardware and software
- Plan, deploy and manage configuration changes
- Apply scheduled software/firmware patches in accordance with the enterprise change schedule
- Interface daily with other IT and professional staff members in an integrated team environment
- Provide technical support, training, and technical documentation to staff members as needed
- Monitor security operations and provide timely responses
- Other duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
- Prefer at least a 2yr degree, but experience may outweigh education required.
- Office365 experience required
- Hands on experience administering Microsoft Exchange
- Extensive experience with Windows Server in a highly virtualized enterprise environment
- Thorough understanding of Group Policy and its use in corporate compliance
- Hands on experience utilizing configuration management tools
- Hands on experience with vulnerability remediation across multiple Operating System (OS) platforms
- Working knowledge of IT security best practices as well as a high degree of troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
- Hands on experience managing and configuring Firewalls
- Experience with endpoint management solutions
- Experience managing and monitoring backup and replication technologies
- Experience working with an enterprise certificate authority (CA)
- Fortinet experience desired
- VOIP experience desired
- Strong documentation and diagraming experience
- Demonstrated communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Employees are expected to carry out all reasonable requests by managers/supervisors, which the employee is capable of performing.
- Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste, damage to areas and equipment, and to prevent accidents.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Employees must record all hours worked accurately and honestly in the timekeeping system.
- 3 – 5 year’s professional experience in an IT Administrative/Engineer role
