Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable ADP Timecard Auditor/Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for auditing and reviewing employee timecards in ADP Workforce Now (or applicable ADP system), ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws. This role requires a strong understanding of timekeeping systems, data integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timecard Auditing: Review and audit employee timecards in ADP Workforce Now (or applicable ADP platform) for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
- Data Verification: Ensure all time entries are correct, including hours worked, overtime, shift differentials, and paid time off.
- Error Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies related to timecard entries, including correcting errors and clarifying issues with employees or supervisors.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on timecard data, working closely with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Compliance: Monitor timecard practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies.
- Audit Trail Maintenance: Maintain a clear audit trail of all changes made to timecards and report findings to appropriate management.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager inquiries regarding timecard discrepancies and corrections.
- System Updates: Assist with updating and maintaining employee timecard settings in the ADP system as necessary.
- Documentation: Assist in the development and maintenance of timecard-related documentation, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2 years of experience working with ADP Workforce Now or similar time and attendance systems.
- Prior experience in timecard auditing, payroll, or human resources preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and labor laws (FLSA, etc.).
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with ADP Time & Attendance modules is highly preferred.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field is a plus.
