The Construction Superintendent Assistant position provides support on basic capital projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.

Essential Functions
- Supports the pre-construction activities for basic capital projects, including participation in walkthroughs of leased property and company-owned property for Tenant Improvement and remodeling, assisting with building design meetings, subcontractor searches, and development of project timelines.
- Oversees project progress, ensuring appropriate staffing of construction, managing subcontractor timeline and performance, and monitoring compliance with building plans.
- Oversees completion phase activities, including review and completion of punch list.
- Fosters a safety culture by serving as a safety advocate for Morton Buildings, Inc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- 2 year construction related degree or related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent follow through
- Proven leadership skills
- Expert-level knowledge of project planning software (e.g. Microsoft Project) and ability to develop coherent CAD plans
- Familiarity with construction and project management systems
- Must be able to travel
