Morton Comprehensive Health Services is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of highly skilled workers to provide the highest quality of patient care, always putting our patients first and foremost.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides high quality, professional medical care in accordance with the organization’s mission statement and industry standards. Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examinations (including obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories). Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Job Qualifications:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Oklahoma, required.
- A minimum of twelve (12) months’ experience preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a clinic environment
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds; and occasionally up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to sit, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Possess the ability to bend, lift, and climb stairs.
Work may involve some exposures to operating circumstances that require following standard or prescribed safety precautions.
This position has been deemed a” Safety-Sensitive” position; therefore, Morton reserves the right to refuse to hire an applicant or may terminate an employee in a “Safety-Sensitive Position” who tests positive for medical marijuana even if he/she has a valid medical marijuana license.
