Morton & Rudolph Jewelers is seeking a Jewelry Sales Specialist! We are searching for a candidate who is organized and self motivated, has an outgoing personality, and someone with a team player mentality. Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, high-end customer service to meet the needs and preferences of clients.
- Actively engage with customers on the sales floor, offering expert knowledge about jewelry pieces, including materials, craftsmanship, and design.
- Identify customer needs through active listening, asking insightful questions, and providing tailored recommendations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the jewelry collections, including diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and designer pieces.
- Stay current with trends in the jewelry industry and provide valuable insight to customers.
- Educate customers on proper jewelry care, sizing and maintenance to enhance product longevity and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers, creating a loyal client base.
- Help maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing sales floor in accordance with the company’s merchandising standards.
- Assist in setting up and arranging displays, ensuring that products are presented attractively to customers.
- Work closely with other team members to meet store goals and create a positive work environment.
- Follow all security protocols to ensure the safety of merchandise and customers.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance that aligns with the brand’s image.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, such as certification standards for gemstones and diamonds, to provide accurate information to clients.
- Process sales transactions, special orders and repairs using the POS register system.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma - Required
- Certification from the G.I.A. (or equivalent education) such as A.J.P., Graduate Diamonds, or Graduate Gemologist (preferred, not required)
- Ability to multitask
- Superior organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and self motivated
- Experience in fine jewelry sales or luxury retail
- Superior communication skills
- High internal motivation and strong attention to detail
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Ability to conduct transactions electronically
- Adept in time management, organization, and dependability
- Flexibility in schedule to work Saturdays and some evening hours
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
