Job Summary
The jobholder has the primary responsibility for managing the day-to-day order execution of our automated order entry process. This position will manage the automation solution for all channels (US & Canada for C&I). Included in this role is acting as the main point of contact for escalations, continuous improvement & overall success of the order automation activities. Additionally, this role will act as the SME & play an active role in WebShop onboarding while also maintaining customer WebShop data for customers across all channels.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Works with a “virtual associate” (robot) that manages the entry of orders received via email. Orders that the virtual assistant can’t process automatically are reviewed, updated and processed by the Order Automation Coordinator.
- Additionally, the Order Automation coordinator istrator works with IT to setup and manage customers using WebShop, an online portal from which customers can place orders directly into the ERP.
- Works to improve Morton Salt’s automation efforts by identifying improvement opportunities.
- Works with CSCAs to identify customers who could be migrated to WebShop or to EDI.
- Establishes and maintains positive and effective relationships with key internal contacts, including supply chain and sales team.
- Utilize SAP order management system to review orders processed and/or cancelled by Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
- Monitor and assist in processing customer orders submitted through the OCR email boxes
- Identify issues with problematic POs and work with Customer Supply Chain Associate (CSCA) to resolve in timely manner
- High school degree or equivalent required. College preferred but not necessary.
- Previous experience in a customer focused environment, preferably in a similar Supply Chain, Logistics role in a B2B or B2C environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of computer applications such as SAP, AS400, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
