Overview
K+S Windsor Salt Ltd. is involved in the mining, refining and distribution of salt products and is currently seeking applicants for the Pellet Bagger (Automated Packaging)/Lift Truck Operator at its Evaporation Facility in Windsor, Ontario. Products made from evaporated salt (salt recovered from brine) are used in household and food products, as well as for agricultural, water softening and industrial purposes.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be able to safely and efficiently operate an automated high speed PLC controlled bagger as well as safely operate a lift truck to transport and store product. The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve are key aspects to success.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must be mechanically-inclined, safety-conscious, team player and be able to work a rotating continental shift schedule.
