Job Summary

The jobholder will be responsible for providing expert guidance and leadership on SAP Ariba and SAP ECC Procurement-related projects, driving business process improvements, and ensuring end-to-end efficiency in procurement, inventory, and supplier management.

Activities include collaborating with business and technical teams to design and implement the new process optimization and customization to meet our business demands as well as providing day-to-day support to our integrated Procure-to-Pay solutions, such as SAP ECC Procurement, Inventory Management/Material Management, and SAP Ariba Suite (including Guided Buying, Ariba Network, Contract Management, Spend Analysis and Sourcing modules).

Duties and Responsibilities

• End-to-End Procure-to-Pay Expertise: Lead the design, implementation, customization and optimization of SAP Procure-to-Pay solutions to meet the business requirements, including SAP ECC 6.0 Procurement (Purchasing, Material Management, Supplier Management) and SAP Ariba Suite solutions (Guided Buying, Ariba Network for PO and Invoicing, Contract Management, Spend Analysis and Sourcing), ensuring seamless integration between these platforms.
• Solution Design & Configuration: Own the end-to-end solution design for day-to-day support on the procurement processes, including SAP ECC 6.0 Procurement and SAP Ariba Suite, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, budget plan and compliance with financial regulations.
• Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with business stakeholders and other cross-functional teams including Finance, Operation, IT, and Project managers to conduct business requirements gathering, facilitating workshops, and defining scope and objectives on new implementation or upgrades related to SAP Procure-to-Pay functionalities.
• Integration Leadership: Oversee the system integration testing with developing test scripts and support user acceptance testing between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC to ensure technical solutions are scalable as well as maintain design integrity, adhere to functional designs, and meet business needs.
• Business Process Continuity:
  • Provide training with process documentation and support to end users on the Procure-to-Pay functionalities, best practices and business processes using SAP ECC and SAP Ariba Suite.
  • Continuous seeking operational improvement opportunities, service efficiency initiatives, and business process improvement to better serve business needs by staying up to date with the latest technology in SAP Ariba Suite, as well as industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Leadership & Execution: Manage IT SAP Procure-to-Pay related projects within scope, timeline, budget and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification are a plus.
• Ability to communicate and articulate effectively, both orally and in writing, to present complex concepts and ideas to IT development teams and business counterparts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolves issues.
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a professional manner, good planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to interact with business users and trading partners.
• Working in distributed team environments, initiative-taking, and self-directed.

Required

• In-depth knowledge of SAP Procurement and Inventory module, ECC 6.0 with 8 years support & 2 full life cycle implementations desired.
• Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of SAP Ariba Suite module components including Guided Buying (Punch-out Catalog / non-Catalog), Ariba Network (PO and Invoicing with CIG map), Contract Management, Spend Analysis and Sourcing with 5 years support & 2 full life cycle implementations desired.
• Hands-on experience in supporting SAP Ariba CIG mapping with XML & Idoc for Purchase Order & Invoicing integration.
• Hands-on experience in supporting SAP Ariba Network Invoicing using Opentext Business Center for integration with SAP ECC VIM.
• Experience with integration points between SAP Ariba, SAP Procurement, SAP FI, SAP MM, SAP PM in ECC 6.0 environment.
• Experience in leading simple or highly complex projects with many team members within IT and the business using various Project Development Methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall.
• Experience with end-user support for SAP Procure-to-Pay including preparing User Guides.
• Demonstrated experience with large Enterprise ERP implementations in the areas of technical design specification, development, and knowledge transfer.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
• Proven leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Travel, domestic and international, up to 25%

Advantageous

• SAP Certifications in Ariba or ECC modules.
• Experience in Supplier Onboarding process with SAP Ariba Guided Buying and Invoicing including setup Catalog and Material U/M conversion.
• Knowledge of maintain Supplier / User / Plants & Users in SAP Ariba.
• Speaking / Writing in Spanish and French are desirable.
• Experience in ABAP, Debugging, Winshuttle.
• Experience on deploying multiple data exchange methods, XML, Idocs.
• Good understanding of various business processes including, but not limited to finance & controlling familiarity with S4/HANA architecture and its impact on procurement and Ariba Integration.
