Responsibilities/Duties
- Monitor production processes
- Conduct necessary quality inspections using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection reports
- Make sure products meet therequired specifications
- Ensure production personnel are following proper procedures (during production checks)
- Ensure employees adhere to safety and quality standards and procedures
- Communicate effectively and thoroughly to management and peers with test results or inspection findings outside of specification.
- Report on safety and quality infringements to quality/production management
- Other duties as required by quality/production management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in quality control or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using measuring and testing equipment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with quality management software is a plus.
