Warehouse Order Puller/Packer

**FIRST SHIFT 6-2:30pm Monday thru Friday

• Basic Math Skills

• Understand unit of measure (and its conversions.)

• Follow instructions.

• Must be able to read and fully understand any type of written or digital pick slip.

• Operate handheld scanner to pick orders. (pick from printed pick slips or from written¨NBSP;labels when required)

• Pull product accurately and within productivity guidelines. (When picked from scan gun you must ensure that product is picked from the correct location, assigned to the correct pallet, the box count is calculated correctly, and the quantity is manually entered into the scan gun. When picking from a printed pick slip you must ensure that all pick locations are filled out correctly, all product is assigned to the correct pallet(s), that your print your name and date legibly on the upper right corner of the first page, and that any split lines are shown clearly)

• Build orders in a stable manner and in accordance with height and weight standards. (All coil room and stick department pallets must be appropriately strapped as well as any pallets where there are coils stacked more than three high. 5 ft and 10 ft stick pallets must be built with wooden sides and toppers if over 3 feet tall or the load requires)

• Ensure all boxes are filled, cut to fit, and/or packed with packing material when required.

• Use appropriate boxes and envelopes depending on the product. (factor the size, weight, and if the order has any delicate items, etc.)

• Prepare pallets as required by type (labels, cardboard tops, borders, placards, etc) and place them in correct area for wrapping.

• Perform quality control checks on orders as required by type. (drop shipments are checked against a printed THD.com sheet, coil room pallets are checked against the label, etc) Accurately match shipping labels orders and sticker them neatly.

• Report product shortages to replenish team members in a timely manner. If there is not enough product currently in inventory to complete your order alert your Lead.

• Remove defective or damaged products and materials to specified areas (using scan gun)

• Remove partial boxes to specified areas when created (using scan gun)

You should be proficient in:

• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Basic Computer Skills
