Tulsa, Oklahoma, Job Summary :
The Director of Marketing & Community Engagement will support the Senior Associate Athletic Director of External Relations in the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position will promote the Tulsa brand in an effort to increase attendance, generate revenue, and coordinate further outreach in the Tulsa Community.

The Director will be primarily responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans for men’s and women’s basketball and select Olympic sports as assigned.
Community Engagement :
Cultivate relationships with community partners to identify effective engagement opportunities in the Tulsa community that will correlate with their increased participation at athletic events.
Create a comprehensive strategy to increase brand awareness throughout the Tulsa community by participating in outreach opportunities.
Cultivate relationships with campus partners to identify effective engagement opportunities based around athletic events as well as collaborate to create mutually beneficial programming.
Required Qualifications :
Knowledge / Skill / Ability :
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively. Possess a strong working knowledge of social media, Photoshop, and desktop publishing skills.
