Minimum Qualifications:
- Dental Hygienist License: Current license in MN and Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Working Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification: Required
Preferred Experience:
- Technical Skills: Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Clinical Skills: Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Physical Requirements:
- Essential Duties: Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
- Physical Abilities: Prolonged periods sitting and standing, lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds at times, and availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year
