Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
• Take medical imaging, including X-rays and 3D scans, as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software and ensure proper medical coding for procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
• Support various dental specialties, including general dentistry and endodontics.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including X-ray operation.
• Familiarity with Dentrix software for patient management is advantageous.
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing excellent patient care.
