We offer a unique work environment that emphasizes the personal touch for our guests and a positive, professional and healthy work environment for our employees.WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A TURNDOWN ATTENDANTThe Turndown Attendant is responsible for maintaining a comfortable environment in the guest rooms by cleaning and preparing the room for the guest to sleep in. Provides a high level of attention to detail and following procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- To communicate all guest requests to an appropriate supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
- To satisfactorily perform routine housekeeping tasks in guest rooms, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, replacing linen and towels and replenishing amenities.
- Perform routine turn-down services in guest rooms, including emptying trash, removing used room service items, replacing used glasses, towels, paper products and amenities, removing Euro pillows from the bed, turning duvet cover, turning on bedside light and turning off the TV
- Deliver turn-down amenities to the room.
- Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
- To promptly report any deficiencies and maintenance needs in guest rooms.
- To maintain the cleanliness and order of linen closets and promptly report any deficiencies or problems.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
- To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
- Follow all company safety standards, including proper equipment handling to avoid injury to yourself and others.
- Attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
- To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
