We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and support to prospective tenants while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entry skills, experience with property leasing, and a collaborative approach to sales.
Duties
- Assist prospective tenants in finding suitable rental properties by showcasing available units and conducting property tours.
- Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and customer relationship management systems, including Onesite.
- Provide information on property features, amenities, and lease terms while addressing any inquiries or concerns from potential residents.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective marketing strategies that attract potential tenants.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies throughout the leasing process.
- Handle conflict management effectively by addressing tenant issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Support office operations by performing administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property leasing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, particularly Onesite or similar software.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and relevant laws governing property leasing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to manage conflicts professionally and find solutions that meet tenant needs.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.
