Mosaic Seeding is a seeding and erosion control maintenance company providing services throughout northern Colorado. Our clients consist of land developers, builders, and landscape installers. Mosaic Seeding provides erosion control installations, post-storm water inspection maintenance, soil preparation and amendment, seeding (both drill and hydraulic), mulching (both straw and hydraulic), snow removal, and field mowing services.

Position Overview
The position of laborer reports daily to the foreman and will work alongside of crew of 2-4 team members conducting erosion control maintenance and installations, seeding installations, snow removal services, and tractor mowing services.
Laborer will perform handwork such as hammering in stakes for silt fence or wattles, sweeping and scraping gutters, assist in loading/unloading machinery, loading seeding equipment with seed/straw/mulch.
Upon review and approval of the foreman, laborers may also operate small heavy equipment such as skid steers or agricultural tractors.
Laborer must be able to follow directions from Foreman and ensure all products and services are being installed and performed at the highest industry standard while following all safety and compliance measures.
Other Duties
· Use mobile timekeeping software to track hours
· Perform daily and routine equipment maintenance
· Maintain a clean and hygienic site
· Work well with others and communicate with fellow team members in a professional manner
· Follow all safety and precautionary measures
Qualifications, Experience, and Requirements
· Ability to regularly move/lift 50lbs and occasionally 100lbs
· Ability to meet other physical demands of the job, including frequent use of hands, arms, and legs, standing for extended periods of time, handling and movement of materials
· Reliable transportation to and from the company yard daily.
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
· General hand tool knowledge
· Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently and proficiently
Beneficial Qualifications – Not Required
· Heavy Equipment Operating Experience: skid steer, agricultural tractor
· Previous experience in the erosion control, seeding, or landscape industries
· High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation and Benefits
· Hourly compensation of $15-$25 per hour, based on experience, paid bi-weekly (every other Friday)

· Typical schedule of 7:30am- 4:00pm, M-F (additional hours/days may be necessary from time to time)
