Job Summary
Mosaic Technologies is looking for a Controller to join and lead our finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position’s main responsibility is to provide financial and contract management for the organization while leading members of the finance team. The ideal candidate will be organized, thorough, and can pay close attention to detail while prioritizing multiple work assignments.
Essential Functions (including but not limited to)
- Mentor and develop accounting team members, manage work allocation, provide training, complete performance evaluations, and monitor workflow to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Oversee company-wide contract management.
- Oversee accounts receivable management including write offs and collection activities of team.
- Perform monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee physical inventory counts and make any necessary adjustments.
- Complete monthly sales and excise tax returns and payments.
- Continually strive for process improvements to increase efficiency of the finance team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while leading others.
- 4-year degree in accounting preferred.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice generation, and other general accounting tasks.
- Experience in leading and developing teams.
- Dependability to the company, co-workers, and customers.
