Finance Intern
As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced finance professionals, gaining exposure to various aspects of financial operations, analysis, and reporting. This paid internship opportunity involves assisting with financial tasks, performing data analysis, and supporting finance team members in day-to-day activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Some of your duties may include:
• Communicating with customers to provide billing support
• Accurately applying customer payments
• Assisting with monthly billing for company provided services
• Helping maintain queues, creating work orders, processing invoices, and verifying completion of payments
• Assisting with sourcing responsibilities such as preparing and processing purchase orders
• Providing support to members of the finance team as needed
You’ll also need to be able to:
• Continuously communicate with customers and co-workers
• Continuously work on computer-based programs
• Continuously see, hear, and listen
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Strong academic background with coursework in financial accounting, managerial finance, and/or financial analysis
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and effective communication skills
SCHEDULE
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Full-time position with part-time capacity during school year if needed
