Job Summary
Mosaic Technologies is looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join our finance team. This position is responsible for supporting sourcing initiatives which include creation, negotiation, and maintenance for activities around identifying suppliers and managing the competitive process of recommending a supplier that best meets Mosaic’s business objectives.
Essential Functions (including but not limited to)
· Research and compare suppliers, goods, and services.
· Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency while balancing business needs.
· Request cost proposals and negotiate contracts and prices.
· Prepare and process purchase orders.
· Track distribution of materials and ensure timely delivery to the appropriate departments.
· Maintain inventories and internal controls by tracking purchased equipment and supplies.
Qualifications and Skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
· High school diploma plus two to three years of purchasing, inventory, supply chain, or other related experience
· Experience with inventory management software preferred
· Dependability to the company, co-workers, and customers
· Strong communication skills
