Direct Care Worker - In Home Care at Mosaic summary : The Direct Care Worker provides essential support to older adults and individuals with physical and / or intellectual disabilities in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, ensuring comfort and safety, and offering emotional support while managing household tasks. Soreo, A service of Mosaic, is now contracting with Direct Care Workers to support older adults and people with physical and / or intellectual disabilities in their homes.The Direct Care Worker will coordinate their visits based on the needs of the individual(s) they will be serving and their availability to work. Compensation starts at $15.25 per hour plus more for experience and there is no cap or limit on hours worked. You can coordinate multiple visits per day based on your availability and the needs of the people needing services. - Assist with the development of important daily living skills and life activities by creating an environment where people can learn, grow and discover;
- Help people identify and achieve the goals most important to them in order to live their best life possible;
- Monitor the comfort and safety of the people we serve while ensuring their medical, nutritional and personal care needs are being met; and,
