POSITION FUNCTION:
The Business and Information Systems Analyst leads and manages improvements to processes and technologies for the organization by analyzing business processes, workflows, and systems to find out how they can be improved and/or automated. The Business and Information Systems Analyst also coordinates and manages business technology-related projects and assists in the development of user training materials. This position interacts with and impacts all stakeholders within MOSAIC.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interview stakeholders to determine requirements and examine current and new business procedures in light of those requirements.
- Apply knowledge of business process modelling notations (BPMN, EPC, BPEL) to documenting processes, requirements, use cases, etc.
- Identify control deficiencies and recommend solutions to remediate and reduce risks to the organization while improving the user and client experience
- Research and estimate the costs of upgrades and improvements
- Recommend solutions for improving and restructuring organizational systems or procedures
- Assess business performance, information, and plans by conducting regular tests and analyses
- Ensure change management protocols are adhered to.
- Lead and participate in sessions re-engineering business processes and systems
- Facilitate process workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users to gather requirements and to review options
- Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes
- Lead the coordination of business technology vendors to achieve support agreements.
- Coordinate and lead complex business technology projects.
- Lead and manage business technology related messages to all users.
- Coordinate and manage the development of business technology related training materials for users.
- Host workshops, information gathering sessions, training, and Q&A events for all users.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users and effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Generate and review reports (e.g., trends, project updates, risks, backlog, patterns and other data and issues) and provide summaries and recommendations to leadership.
- Review and manage all issues with material impact to the organization, including changes to legislation, contracts, standards, etc.
- Work with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Obtain quotes for the work and administer tenders.
- Schedule and coordinate work, deliveries, installations, inspections, etc.
- Supervision of contractors and other personnel when required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Business Process Mapping & Re-Engineering
- Project Management experience
- Proficiency with Office365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps/Automate/BI) ERP & CRM Systems
- Knowledge of privacy legislation and current security practices/standards and Risk management
- Knowledge of Implementation controls, Workflows & Automation
COMPENSATION: $69,360.00 - $71,716.00 annual salary
HOURS: full time (35 hours per week)
The successful candidate must be able to commute to the Boundary office location.
BENEFITS:
A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length and which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week.

Salary : $69,360 - $71,716
