- The Philanthropy Coordinator works under the Director, Fund Development, Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville. This position provides executive and administrative support for the Director and is responsible for conducting research, preparing statistical and other reports, organizing schedules, keeping records, managing budgets, corresponding with internal and external constituents (e.g., donors, board members, physicians, grateful patients, community volunteers), preparing presentations, and performing other tasks to assist the Director in achieving philanthropic goals of Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville. In this capacity, the Philanthropy Coordinator will serve as an annual giving officer, responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of various events, campaigns and operations. The Philanthropy Coordinator will exercise judgment in making decisions and accomplishing goals independently with little supervision. This position is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
- Oversees all social media and website content for the St. Francis Foundation.
- Coordinates appointments and meetings with fellow staff, providers, government officials, consultants, donors, prospective donors, caregivers, patients, or others as requested, prioritizing and arranging as efficiently as possible.
- Manages office by serving as the lead point of contact for Philanthropy among fellow caregivers and walk-in visitors (e.g., grateful patients, donors, community members), processing incoming and outgoing mail (e.g. donor checks, acknowledgement letters), screening telephone calls, maintaining subscriptions, purchases and accounts payable. Arranges travel, expense reports, and reservations. Coordinates all office functions. Exhibits resourcefulness, strong emphasis on being detailed oriented and task prioritization, and demonstrates independence.
- Provides logistical support for community relations and caregiver engagement events.
- Bachelor's Degree emphasis in business, communications or related field is required.
- 2 Years of Progressive experience as an administrative/executive assistant or other translatable experience is required. Prior experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or educational setting is preferred.
