Top Tier Manufacturer is looking for a Plant Operations Supervisor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to supervise the efficient operation of processes within established parameters. Lead and direct the operations work force under the direction of the Plant Manager. Plan and schedule necessary downtime with maintenance departments. Production planning for various products and production units, process troubleshooting, and reporting. Identify process bottlenecks and causes of substandard performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong industrial background required.
- Strong mechanical background required.
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be willing to be on an on-call schedule.
- Prefer 3-5 years’ experience with the following skills and equipment:
- Mineral Processing and Screening.
- Slurry Pumping.
- Rotating Equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Production Planning.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Anticipate problems and prevent them when possible.
- Serve as the technical expert in the process areas.
- Gather information from various sources, identify process or maintenance problems, assist with troubleshooting and generate options for solutions.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in choosing a course of action.
This role will sit ONSITE out of the Mauricetown, NJ facility.
