General Job Description - Rental Shop Associate

Reports to: Rental Manager

Job Summary

Moscow & Pullman Building Supply is looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our Rental Department team. This is a hands-on, physically active position ideal for someone who isn't afraid to work hard, get a little dirty, and spend most of their day outdoors.

In this role, you'll support the Rental Department by washing and maintaining equipment, loading and unloading rental items for customers, and assisting with equipment deliveries and pickups. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that all rental equipment is in top shape and ready for the job.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Load and unload rental equipment
• Clean and inspect rentals upon return
• Identify when equipment needs to be repaired
• Regular general maintenance of equipment
• Deliver equipment to and from customer job sites
• Apply logic and have critical thinking skills
• Equipment assembly
• Keeping the shop organized, clean & safe
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with driving, towing, and hauling equipment or trailers
• Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn
• Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Requirements

• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a drug test *
