Part Time Warehouse Operator - Moscow Recycling Center

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Warehouse Operator

Location: Moscow, ID

Pay Range: $18/hr.

Part Time: Saturday, Sunday, Monday; 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Reports to: Recycling Center Manager

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain 24-hour recycling and yard waste drop off areas while keeping the site clean and free of debris
• Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing pre and post-trip reports; keeping equipment clean, maintained, and stored in a safe manner; immediately reporting any equipment or mechanical failures to the supervisor
• Comply with OSHA, SDS standards and company safety procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service by creating and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers
• Basic understanding and ability to operate computer programs
• Model all relevant company policies and procedure while managing a variable workload

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers license
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks
• Ability to work various shifts, hours, and days depending on workload
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and strong documentation skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities while working corporately in a team environment.
• Background check results satisfactory to INW
• Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year forklift experience
• 1 year skid skid steer.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and maneuver 50 pounds frequently
• Lift, push, pull, bend, reach, twist, stoop, etc.
• Must be able to work in noise, dust and all weather conditions
• Stand for at least 8 hours
