Mosebach Manufacturing Company, a well-established electrical power equipment manufacturer, based in the South Hills of Pittsburgh (Upper Saint Clair/Bridgeville) is seeking Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Assemblers to join our team!
THE CAREER
- Follow established work instructions and direction from management to produce goods.
- Execute builds in accordance with all drawings, bill of materials, and specifications; Use appropriate tools and equipment as required, including hand tools, power tools, digital instruments, and basic machine shop tools; and correct defects as identified at inspection.
- Ensure builds are completed in a timely manner while maintaining a consistently high-quality rate.
- Report job progress either in verbal or written format; identify areas of improvement and present them to management; and complete any required documentation that accompanies assigned tasks.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment by following Company work instructions, standards, and procedures.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A two-year technical degree is highly preferred.
- One or more years of experience in assembling mechanical or electro-mechanical products required.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical engineering drawings required. Ability to understand advanced technical drawings preferred.
- Ability to receive and understand work instructions in a written or verbal format.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools and machine shop tools. Strong mechanical and analytical skills preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- With or without reasonable accommodation, must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs., regularly walk, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms, stand, crouch, and kneel; occasionally required to use hand to finger dexterity in order to handle objects, tools, and/or controls.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
