Job Title: Renovation Crews
The piece crew is responsible for the complete modernization and rehabilitation of existing apartment units on a specified property or set of properties. This role performs all required activities in order to remodel the unit up to specified construction plans as dictated by the site superintendent, and for maintaining the highest standards in customer service and curb appeal of the assigned property.
- Minimum 3-5 years full time experience in construction field, remodeling, renovations
- Own majority of hand tools required to execute interior renovations, demo, drywall, paint, tile work and assembly.
- Positive attitude, flexible, trainable, and prompt.
- Demonstrate consistent strong work ethic with ability to work independently
Knowledge Requirements:
- Demolition
- Knowledge of framing, millwork (baseboard, door and casing installation)
- Light plumbing (install sinks, faucets, toilets etc.),
- Light electrical (install lighting, ceiling fans, switches, plugs, etc.)
- Drywall repairs, hanging, taping and texturing
- Carpet installation
- LVP and LVT Installation
- Tile installation – floor and wall tile
- Painting – cabinets, walls and doors
- Appliance installation (refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, washing machines)
Communication and Organization:
- Ability to communicate with site superintendent, and supervisors
- Ability to maintain a schedule and complete on time
- Work in and maintain a clean and safe work area
