Technical Writer
Greenville, SC
Contract Position
40.00-$42.00 / Hour
Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircraft's operational life and capabilities.
Responsibilities :
- Develop repair dispositions and fabrication requirements for discrepant aircraft conditions discovered during maintenance, modifications, and overhaul activities.
- Use engineering source documents to provide technical guidance and references for repair work.
- Estimate labor budgets and material requirements for repair tasks, including supporting negotiations when necessary.
- Conduct spot checks of work documents to identify improvement opportunities and ensure accuracy.
- Perform liaison planning tasks to resolve document issues, provide reports, and implement planning changes for hangar floor and flight line operations.
