Model Based System Engineer- Ground Combat Systems

Responsibilities:
- MBSE Model Guidance: Lead the program team in developing functional and non-functional requirements using MBSE models and structures.
- Requirements Decomposition: Support the development and linking of SysML artifacts such as Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Block Definition Diagrams (BDDs), and Internal Block Diagrams (IBDs).
- Data Architecture & Model Libraries: Guide the team in the creation and maintenance of data models and libraries based on the Ground Combat System (GCS) Common Infrastructure Architecture (GCIA).
- Metrics and Tracking: Build and maintain MBSE-based metrics for program tracking, such as Trade Studies, Risks, and Design Decision Memorandums (DDMs).
- Digital Engineering Support: Contribute to initiatives to connect digital engineering tools (e.g., Teamcenter, Cameo, MADe) for a seamless engineering environment.
- Development of Style Guides: Create style guides for MBSE areas.
- Support Program CDRLs: Ensure MBSE processes align with contract requirements for digital engineering.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent technical degree).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a related engineering role, with strong experience in vehicle systems engineering.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Cameo experience is required (likely referring to Cameo Systems Modeler, a tool used for MBSE).
- Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain a US security clearance is required.
