What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Assessment Specialist position at Moseley Technical Services, Inc.?
Support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) by developing and delivering Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) training programs to ensure Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for the Department of Defense. In this role, you will provide Instructor/Operator (I/O) services to create training materials, conduct instruction, and support NAVWAR integration into military exercises at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, route, and review all documents required for JNWC assessments to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Create, maintain, and review event planning annexes and checklists to support NAVWAR assessment activities.
- Ensure assessments are conducted in accordance with local, state, federal, or local national laws.
- Write both technical and non-technical reports on preliminary findings from assessments.
- Maintain and update scenario plans to support future assessment execution.
- Work independently under tight time constraints to complete assessment tasks with little to no oversight.
- Support CONUS/OCONUS travel and shiftwork as required for operations, exercises, and conferences.
Qualification
- Clearance: Current Top Secret clearance (minimum Secret required for consideration).
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of DoD assessment methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of PNT capabilities, technologies, and vulnerabilities is essential.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including CONUS/OCONUS travel.
Salary : $75,000 - $82,000
