We are a dynamic Commercial and Educational Furniture dealership seeking a motivated Designer to join our team. The Designer position is responsible for the development and production of furniture drawings and specifications for pricing, order entry and installation purposes.
Responsibilities
- Consulting with the Sales Team and Customers to determine furniture needs, and help develop solutions to meet those needs
- Prepares schematic designs, space planning, product pricing, finish schemes and installation drawings.
- Creates presentation documents and media as needed for projects.
- Validates furniture plans against architectural and engineering construction drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Keeping up with our Design Studio library of literature, textiles and finishes.
- Assist with the design and upkeep of our showroom.
- Offers technical input on proposed design solutions by developing extensive knowledge base of furniture lines, specifications, features and options.
