- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
- 1 to 3 years of mechanical experience or the equivalent professional training is preferred.

Typical Responsibilities
- Drain the oil and replace it to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect the generator for leaks and potential issues.
- Install new parts, such as air filters, oil filters, and batteries.
- Lubricate moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensure the engine is kept clean throughout servicing.
- Diagnose existing issues and consult with lead mechanics on the team to address the generator issues.
- Create detailed service reports for customers.
- Coordinate service dates with lease operators of customer site
- Maintain reliability and working order of unit fleet.
- Required to be part of an on-call rotation to meet scheduling needs of the department.
- Know and comply with all safety policies, standards, and procedures that apply to your job.
- Use the correct tools and use them safely.
- Immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
- Abide by all policies and procedures established by Moser Energy Systems.
- Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor.
- Actively participate in all required training and safety meetings.
- Ability to work outdoors in the elements.
- An aptitude for mechanical diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to drive for extended periods of time.
- Demonstrated experience with servicing equipment.
- Time management and organizational skills with the ability to work alone.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Read and follow complex directions in manuals and relay information in reports.
- Must treat everyone equally with respect and dignity.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to work legally in the US.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Clean motor vehicle record.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks.
- The physical ability to perform all tasks related to the position, such as bending and reaching, standing for long periods of time and lifting over 60 pounds.
