Job Description

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Experience with all patient populations preferred, not required.

License : License in hand required with submission.

Certifications :

BLS required
ARRT and / or NMTCB

Must-Have :

EPIC experience required

Experience with Phillips & Mediso preferred

IV starts, PACS

Cardiac, Bone and Brain Scan, Liver Spleen Scan, Lung Scan, Renal Flow, Thyroid Studies, SPECT, Myocardial

Job Description :

Position involves varied day shifts, primarily 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, but may adjust to 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM depending on patient schedule needs.

Conduct molecular imaging exams, including Datscans, RAI I-131 treatment exams for hyperthyroidism or cancer, Brain Death flow studies.

Administer injections for Melanomas and Sentinel node procedures.

Perform scans and studies on adult and geriatric patient populations in outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and community hospital settings.

Utilize 2 Mediso Dual Head gamma cameras, 1 Single Head Philips Argus gamma camera, Captus 4000e uptake probe well, and Capintec CRC-55tW Dose Calibrator.

Complete modules during orientation, ranging from 2-4 hours.

Orientation includes 16 non-billable hours.

Comply with COVID-19 and Flu vaccine requirements, with medical / religious exemptions only.

Background check open cases are not accepted.

Education verification through a third party is required.

No locals accepted within a 50-mile radius.

All travelers are subject to float to any additional locations if needed.
