DescriptionThe Rad Tech is responsible for providing radiographic studies for diagnostic medical purposes. In this role, the Rad Tech must provide the highest level of customer service, providing comfort and empathy while positioning patients to capture the clearest images. This role is responsible for processing images and working within the protocols of the contracted radiologist.
Responsibilities
- Processes Radiology orders within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Interface (EMR Link)
- Obtains accurate, clear, concise radiologic images as per imaging protocols
- Transmits images to Radiologist group for interpretation
- Performs Administrative duties as required
- Job duties require knowledge and training in the field of Radiology, typically acquired through a formal Associates degree or trade school program in Radiographic Technology.
- Ability to obtain a Washington State Radiographic Technologist license.
- Ability to read and speak Spanish and/or Russian preferred but not required.
- Travel between work sites required. Must have reliable transportation and provide documentation of auto insurance and valid driver's license as required.
