Job Overview
As a Runner, You will make sure the room is running smoothly and has enough cheese to keep production up. Make sure sealing machines are running good.
Hours are
0630am to 1245pm Monday to Thursday - 0630am to 1345pm Friday
Duties
-Set up production room (0630-0700)
Bring cheese into production room
Cutting Bulk cheese into portions
Distributing to each station in production
-Keep a steady supply of cheese prepared for production thought the day
-Assist with vacuum sealing
-Assist with cleaning production room (1230to1245 Monday -Thursday)
(1230-1345) Friday -Deep cleaning
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with working in a kitchen environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures is beneficial
-Need to be able lift a minimum of 50lbs thought the day
-Maneuver and shift barrels
-operate manual lift (Training if needed)
- Work a Barrel cutter for cheese barrels ( training available)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
