Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their seats.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize restaurant flow.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Provide support during busy periods by helping with guest relations and managing waitlists effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles is preferred, particularly in restaurants or hotels.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to helping guests and resolving issues as they arise.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus but not mandatory.
