Mosquito Joe is looking for an organized, positive and professional Manager in Training / Lead Field Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll provide daily leadership and management to a team of mosquito control technicians, providing residential and commercial customers mosquito treatments to Make Outside Fun Again!
What your days will look like

You will have ability to learn, develop and use your managerial skills while at the same time performing services when needed in the field
As the Manager in Training / Lead Field Technician, you will be a trained expert who applies mosquito and perimeter pest control products to both commercial and residential customers
Travel required within the market. Including, but not limited to; Tampa, Lakeland and Ft. Myers
Daily communication with the team and the Field Operations Manager
Participate in sales initiatives, inventory control, maintenance on equipment and provide a remarkable client experience
Lead weekly meetings with the team
Follow a route schedule, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer's location
Communicate with customers to discuss additional services that meet their needs for the most efficient and complete mosquito control protocol
Help find and train new technicians, control inventory, manage the daily crews in the field, while keeping things orderly and in accordance with local laws and regulations
Perform weekly technician audits and ongoing training with your team
Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements
Handle pesticides in safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations
Represent the company and maintain a high level of customer service
Some non-negotiables
Previous experience leading a team of 5-10 employees
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
Drug and alcohol free workplace
Some basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements - no previous pest control experience necessary
