Mosquito Joe is looking for an organized, positive and professional Manager in Training / Lead Field Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll provide daily leadership and management to a team of mosquito control technicians, providing residential and commercial customers mosquito treatments to Make Outside Fun Again!
What your days will look like
Spend your working hours in the field making outside fun again for the community instead of being stuck behind a desk or in a cubicleWe are passionate about creating a remarkable customer experience and want to work with hardworking individuals who will represent our company with enthusiasm and integrityYou will have ability to learn, develop and use your managerial skills while at the same time performing services when needed in the fieldAs the Manager in Training / Lead Field Technician, you will be a trained expert who applies mosquito and perimeter pest control products to both commercial and residential customersTravel required within the market. Including, but not limited to; Tampa, Lakeland and Ft. MyersDaily communication with the team and the Field Operations ManagerParticipate in sales initiatives, inventory control, maintenance on equipment and provide a remarkable client experienceLead weekly meetings with the teamFollow a route schedule, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer's locationCommunicate with customers to discuss additional services that meet their needs for the most efficient and complete mosquito control protocolHelp find and train new technicians, control inventory, manage the daily crews in the field, while keeping things orderly and in accordance with local laws and regulationsPerform weekly technician audits and ongoing training with your teamMaintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirementsHandle pesticides in safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulationsRepresent the company and maintain a high level of customer serviceSome non-negotiables
Previous experience leading a team of 5-10 employeesValid driver's license with safe driving recordDrug and alcohol free workplaceSome basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements - no previous pest control experience necessaryWhat we have to offer

Compensation : $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
