- We’ve got you covered with our paid training to become a state-certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator.
- After training, enjoy driving a company van equipped with a rapid-fill tank and pump system. Operate a powerful backpack blower to eliminate mosquitoes and other pests on your customer’s properties, adhering to company policy and state regulations.
- Delight in fostering good working relationships with customers to address questions or concerns and welcome all 5-star customer reviews.
What we offer
- Competitive Compensation: Earn $21-$25/hour
- Bonus Compensation:
- Performance pay: Earn up to an additional $50/week.
- Positive Review Compensation: Earn $25 for each positive review you receive from your customers.
- Health Insurance Contribution: Receive $250 contributed towards health insurance every month.
- Stability: Weekly paychecks, paid holidays, and a typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities
- Entry-level: No prior experience needed – we provide paid training to set you up for success.
- Certifications: Obtain the required state certification for a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License with our support. [5.0 Mosquito & Aquatics. 3.0 Turf & Landscape.]
- Seasonal Work Outdoors: Work outdoors from mid-April through mid-October. Enjoy the fresh air while making a difference in your customer’s life.
- Customer Interaction: Connect with customers, understand their concerns, and maintain strong relationships.
- Independent Work: Thrive in a role where you can operate independently using our easy-to-follow systems yet contribute to a supportive team environment.
- Trustworthiness: Build trust with your customers by consistently delivering reliable mosquito and tick control services.

- Maintenance: Perform regular equipment and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with local marketing efforts by placing road signs and distributing door hangers in designated areas to promote Mosquito Shield’s services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical Ability to carry a 65-pound backpack blower over various terrains up to 25 times daily.
- Ability to pass Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide Applicator certification:
- Required: 5.0 Aquatics & Mosquito and 3.0 Turf & Landscape
- Bonus: 7.1 Structural (not required but a plus).
