As an intern, you will assist in evaluating recurring earnings, analyzing key revenue and cost drivers, and identifying potential balance sheet risks. Responsibilities
- Assist senior team members in performing financial due diligence for buyers and sellers of middle-market companies across various industries.
- Help in evaluating recurring earnings, key revenue streams, and cost drivers to assess business performance.
- Aid in identifying and analyzing balance sheet exposures, including liabilities and risks.
- Support the collection and validation of financial data from client documents and other sources.
- Assist in drafting due diligence reports, highlighting key findings and potential risks for clients.
- Work closely with senior team members to ensure comprehensive analysis and accurate deliverables.
- Participate in special transaction-related projects, contributing to deal assessments and valuation insights as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, STEM OPT)
- Must have completed or be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, with a preference for finance, business, economics or related fields
- Must reside within a commutable distance to a Moss Adams office and be willing to work on-site
- Eligible candidates must have academic courses remaining at the end of the internship
- Technology-related coursework highly desirable
- Pursuing a master’s in finance, business, economics or related fields preferred
- Willingness to travel to client locations, including overnight stays, with travel expectations varying by department and office location
- Flexibility to work overtime or additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to assess earnings, revenue, and cost drivers
- High level of accuracy in reviewing financial data and identifying potential risks and inconsistencies
- Excellent customer service skills; Ability to understand own and others' emotions in order to achieve desired goals
- Creative problem solving, critical thinking and research skills; Organize information and exercise well-reasoned judgment
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Demonstrate confidence in decision making and poise in professional setting
- Work effectively both as part of a team and independently
