What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance / Account Specialist position at Moss Chiropractic LLC?
Moss Chiropractic is looking for a 30-40 hours /week Finance / Account Specialist to join our team and our growing practice. No insurance billing is involved. Our ideal candidate has excellent math skills, a strong work ethic, is self-driven, motivated, enjoys the challenge of meeting goals,and has the ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers. Our office takes a cross-training approach. We are a hard working but fun loving office that enjoys helping our patients get and stay healthy.
*Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of financial experience (Preferred)
- Associate degree in finance / accounting
- At least 1 year employment in a financial setting (Required)
Responsibilities
- Verification of insurance benefits
- Creating Financial Sheets
- Balancing the Day/Month finances
- Counseling patients on financial options for care programs
- Maintaining excellent communication with patients
- Sending out monthly patient statements
- Following Up on PI/WC Cases
- Addressing patient inquiries
- Anything else necessary to help the office running smoothly and keep our patients happy
Hours
- Monday 8:00 am -6:30 pm
- Tuesday 10:30 am - 6:30 pm
- Wednesday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
- Thursday 10:30 am - 6:30 pm
- Friday 8:00 am -4:00 pm
(Part time hours can be discussed)
