SUMMARY
The Equipment Operator performs routine manual labor for golf course maintenance.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mow greens
- Operate small hand powered equipment
- Walk mow tees and approaches
- Rake sand traps
- Operate large equipment (tractors, loaders, and gang mowers) occasionally
- Operate all mowing and edging machinery safely
- Remove debris and clean landscape beds
- Sand and seed tees and drop area divots
- Return equipment to the maintenance facility and report all problems to the mechanic
- Lay sod and seed tees, greens, and fairways
- Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Valid driver's license
Ability to operate light motorized equipment
