About the Job
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for supervising multiple electrical crews, ensuring compliance with state statutes, and mentoring apprentices. In addition, you will run electrical wiring for DC and AC circuits, diagnose and resolve electrical issues within solar PV systems, and perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on solar installations.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise multiple electrical crews to ensure compliance with state statutes
* Supervise, mentor, and train apprentices
* Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety procedures
* Run electrical wiring for DC and AC circuits according to project specifications and local codes
* Diagnose and resolve electrical issues within solar PV systems
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on solar installations
* Ensure all electrical work complies with state and local building codes and regulations
Requirements
* Must enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
* Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials, adhering to all safety standards
* Must have reliable transportation to and from the project site
* Ability to convey a positive and professional attitude, adhering to Moss core values
* To ensure a safe work environment, a pre-employment drug screening is required
Education and Work Experience
* State Journeyman license required for the state of Kentucky
* Minimum of High School diploma required
* Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing equipment for solar installations
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic environment with ability to handle a high-pressure environment, and prioritize work effectively
* Detail oriented, organized, and efficient individual able to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
