Seeking Solar Laborers and Operators! If you are hardworking, have a positive attitude, and would like to learn a trade in Solar construction, apply now! MOSS was rated as the #1 Solar Contractor in the country for 2025 and is hiring team members to perform tasks involving construction of utility-scale solar projects on multiple projects. This job requires working outside in all types of weather conditions, while standing and walking for extended periods, and bending, kneeling, and lifting heavy materials. Pay starts at $20 per hour for Laborers and provides the ability to have growth opportunities with a long-term career and future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the alignment and positioning of solar panels and components on rooftops or ground-mounted solar arrays.
- Prepare and organize work materials and tools for solar panel installation and maintenance.
- Support the installation team in lifting, positioning, and securing solar panels and racking systems.
- Ensure proper alignment of solar equipment by following project plans and specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Help with trenching, cable pulling, and conduit installation for electrical components as needed.
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and preparing surfaces for solar panel installations.
- Follow all safety procedures, regulations, and guidelines while working on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather
- Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials, adhering to all safety standards
- Must have reliable transportation to and from project site
- Ability to work on weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to convey a positive and professional attitude, adhering to Moss core values
