High School diploma and 2 years or more of culinary experience
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef for our kitchen. As the Head Chef you will be responsible for training and managing kitchen staff, cooking / food preparation and keeping the kitchen area clean.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have proven culinary experience, excellent communication skills, and outstanding organizational skills..
Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen staff
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare and /or oversee the cooking process of menu items
- Monitor inventory levels
- Store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Help ensure the kitchen is clean and organized
Requirements:
- Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
