Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that guests receive their meals promptly and accurately.

Duties

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders.
• Monitor the progress of orders and communicate with servers regarding order status.
• Ensure that all food items are plated correctly and meet presentation standards before being served.
• Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Support the culinary team during busy service periods by helping with cooking, bussing, and other tasks as required.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, following health regulations.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to enhance overall guest satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is required.
• Knife skills and familiarity with food handling procedures and culinary techniques is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork among kitchen and service staff.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
