Job Summary
The Barista with at least 1 year of experience, is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention toward each customer. Provides friendly and efficient service at all times.
Job Activities
Customer Service

Has a thorough knowledge and understanding of all items listed on each menu including ingredients, preparation, and serving methods.

Provides a speedy, efficient, and professional level of service at all times.

Supports the seamless running of the restaurant by providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and customer needs are anticipated.
Department Responsibilities
-
Ensures that the barista section and surrounding areas are always kept clean and tidy.

Assists with all wet stock deliveries and helps transfer stock from one department to another.

Attends meetings/training sessions as required by the management team.

Is hands-on and present in the barista section at all times during service.

Ensures that all service ware is properly cared for, cleaned, and prepared for every service.

Maintains the highest possible standards of personal hygiene and appearance and is dressed in a clean correct uniform at all times.

Ensures the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at work at all times in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1977.

Report any complaints or comments immediately to the Restaurant Manager.

Works as a team player at all times and is prepared to be flexible in order to ensure that operations are always as efficient and profitable as possible.

Establishes and maintains good working relationships between the restaurant and the kitchen team.

Maintains all equipment and utensils.
