Hotel Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel, Bar Visitor's and Motel Guest's. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, respond to incidents, and enforce rules and regulations.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol Hotel property to ensure safety and security.
• Utilize CCTV systems to observe activities and detect suspicious behavior.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds empty rooms and equipment to identify potential security risks.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or assist in investigations.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents and observations.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations while managing conflicts in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security or law enforcement preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in security roles or related fields is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR; certification is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV operations.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• requires constant walking.
• Must be able to work weekends' and Holidays.
• Willing to work overnight shift. 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM
• Employees are not allowed live on site.
• No relocation assistance can be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
