What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintainence Technician position at Motel 6 / Studio 6?
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Follow maintenance schedules and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures
- Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with high voltage systems and industrial electrician work
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues
- Strong customer service skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors
