Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership skills while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance, including troubleshooting circuits and using tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Execute mechanical repairs on equipment and systems, utilizing schematics to guide repairs effectively.
- Manage facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Oversee residential painting projects as needed, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger projects while providing leadership and guidance when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is required.
- Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in repairing various types of equipment.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and documentation purposes.
- Leadership experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to guide others in completing tasks efficiently.
